Like the name says, I believe that the right fragrance has the power to give us those moments of serenity that we so desperately need. Since people has such different responses to different fragrance notes, I am including whatever information has been supplied by the manufacturer. I also only purchase fragrance and essential oils from companies that are well known in the industry.
It's important to note that fragrance very in their color and behavior, and because of this, certain fragrances may not be suitable in a particular design. Also, fragrances that contain vanillin will discolor soap and bath products brown. A vanilla stabilizer can be added to the product to help curb the discoloring, but brown spots may appear over time. This is simply cosmetic and doesn't impact the quality of the item. I have included this information in the description for those looking to have custom products made (vanillin content, discoloration, oil color, performance in cold process soap). Some manufactures categorize their fragrances into families, this is included in parenthesis after the fragrance name.
Alpine Frost (fresh): Bergamot, eucalyptus, sparkling icicle, thyme, basil, iris, amber, cedarwood, and musk. (0%, tan, light yellow, mild acceleration)
Candy Cane: peppermint, spearmint, strawberries, eucalyptus, vanilla, and musk. (7%, brown discoloration, performs well)
Frost & Snowdrops: Winter air, frosted jasmine, winter flowers, iced musk, vanilla, and sandalwood. (0%, no discoloration, slight acceleration)
Gingerbread Cookie (sweet): Orange, cardamom, raisin, clove, cinnamon, rum, vanilla extract, gingerbread, and tonka. (6.5%, brown, golden, accelerates)
Gingersnap Cookies: (0%, no discoloration, very slight acceleration)
Holiday Pomegranate: Pomegranate, sparkling citrus, dewberry, blackberry, iris, jasmine, sheer musk, sandalwood, and red cassis. (0%, no discoloration, performs well)
Reindeer Poo: Apples, pears, eucalyptus, pine, geranium, vanilla, cedarwood, and patchouli. (1%, light tan discoloration, accelerates trace)
Sweater Weather (BBW Type): cool mints, ripened fruits, oak moss, and musk. (0.5%)
Twisted Peppermint: Peppermint, white sugar, and vanilla. (0.4%)
